Routes for Cyclists:

  • Shake-Up Ride: A 45 km route with 165 m elevation gain, ideal for acclimatization and experiencing the vastness of the salt flat.
  • Main Course: A pure challenge of 115 km with 700 m elevation gain, traversing surreal landscapes and iconic spots like the Island of Flags and the Dakar Monument.

Tours for Cyclists and Companions:

While cyclists take on the salt flat, companions can enjoy an exclusive itinerary that includes:

  • Visits to Pulacayo, a historic mining town with ancient locomotives.
  • The Train Cemetery, an iconic place where time stands still.

9:00 AM: Pickup from Joya Andina Airport in Uyuni, Bolivia.

10:30 AM: Reception at the Hotel Bar with refreshments and Team Introduction to participants.

11:00 AM: Event Pre-registration and Check-In at Hotel Luna Salada.

1:00 PM: Lunch at Tunupa Restaurant in Hotel Luna Salada.

3:00 PM: Room assignments.

Afternoon free to enjoy hotel facilities.

7:00 PM: Event Briefing and Welcome Buffet Dinner.

7:00 AM: (All) Buffet breakfast at Hotel Luna Salada.

9:00 AM: (Cyclists) Start of Shake-Up Ride: ±45 km, 165 m elevation gain. (2h to 3h)

9:30 AM: (Companions) Tour #1: Pulacayo Museum.

12:00 PM: (Cyclists) End of Shake-Up Ride route.

1:00 PM: (All) À la carte lunch at Hotel Luna Salada.

4:00 PM: (All) Tour #2: Train Cemetery.

7:30 PM: Main Course Briefing and Buffet Dinner at Hotel Luna Salada.

7:00 AM: (All) Buffet breakfast at Hotel Luna Salada.

9:00 AM: (Cyclists) Start of Uyuni Gravel Main Course: ±115 km, ±700 m elevation gain. (5h to 7h)

9:15 AM: (Companions) Tour #3: How is salt made? / Handicraft Market.

1:00 PM: (Companions) Lunch for Companions at Hotel Luna Salada.

2:00 PM: (Companions) Tour #4: Visit to Island of Flags, Dakar Monument, and await participants.

7:00: Buffet breakfast in the Hotel Luna Salada.

9:00: Beginning of Tour #5  to the interior of the Salar. 
Includes:
– Salt Sculptures,
– Heaven Stairs, and
– The majestic Tunupa Volcano.

13:00: Local lunch at the Lounge VIP inside the Salar.

14:30: Visit to Incahuasi island.

17:00: Sunset at the Salar from a Lounge VIP.

18:00: Return to the Hotel

20:00: Goodbye dinner in the Hotel Luna Salada

6:45 AM: Luggage drop-off at the Hotel Lobby.

7:00 AM: Buffet breakfast at Tunupa Restaurant, Hotel Luna Salada.

7:30 AM: Departure from Hotel Luna Salada to Joya Andina Airport in Uyuni.

8:15 AM: Check-in at Joya Andina Airport for the return flight to La Paz.
